This study aims to as sess how changes in the phosphorylation status of LXRα affect the H3K27Ac histone modification, a known marker for active regulatory elements in promoters and enhancers, in livers of mice mice that carry a whole-body phosphorylation deficient-version of LXRα (S196A) compared to wild-type (WT), in response to a high fat-high cholesterol diet.
