Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) active screening in a Pulmonology department.

Conclusions: The MRSA screening and descolonization protocols can be useful in hospitals. However, it is necessary to make all the hospital staff aware of the strict compliance of protocols.
