Kinetics and risk factors of relapse after allogeneic stem cell transplantation in children with leukemia: A long-term follow-up single center study

Nowadays, allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (allo-HSCT) is considered an established treatment for pediatric patients with high-risk hematological malignancies. Relapse after transplantation still remains the leading cause of death after transplantation1,2 especially in recent years once transplant related mortality has reduced thanks to improved supportive care.
