Controlling risk factors at target levels affects coronary ct angiographic findings and cardiovascular events in asymptomatic patients with type 2 diabetes

Aim: The aim of this study was to assess whether being at targets for HbA1C, blood pressure and low density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) together are associated with lower risks for obstructive coronary artery disease (CAD) on coronary computed tomography angiography (CCTA) and coronary heart disease (CHD) events in asymptomatic patients with type 2 DM.
