LVAD Patients with CKD: Are Two Organs Better than One?

There is limited data to guide dual organ allocation in pts implanted with left ventricular assist device with bridge to transplant intention with chronic kidney disease (CKD). The goal of our study was to determine survival outcomes post transplant in LVAD patients with CKD who either received heart transplant alone (HTA) or heart kidney transplant( HKTx).
