This study demonstrates that within an altered DNA damage response of hypoxic NSCLC cells, mutant EGFR expression, or EGFR blockade by cetuximab exerts a synthetic lethality effect and significantly compromises radiation resistance in hypoxic tumor cells. In this study, we evaluated the expression profile of TMEM106A in NSCLC tissues and cell line, and explored the roles of TMEM106A in NSCLC cell lines.
