Predicting cardiovascular events associated with normal and abnormal myocardial perfusion imaging and normal coronary angiogram

Conclusion: Abnormal MPI predicts a higher prevalence of future cardiovascular events than by CA alone. Since the MPI measures the physiology of coronary flow including the microvasculature and the coronary flow reserve, these parameters may be more accurate in predicting the likelihood of future events than coronary stenosis alone.
