The purpose of the program is to implement activities to assist national governments, regional authorities, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), private and public health care systems, donors, and other interested partners to develop, establish, and coordinate systems and procedures to strengthen TB treatment and control efforts worldwide. This will be accomplished by establishing collaborations with Ministries of Health and other partners ( e.g., TB, HIV/AIDS, and other programs) decreasing the burden of TB in adults and children, persons living with HIV/AIDS (PLWA) and other at risk populations.
