Psychometric evaluation of the functional assessment of cancer therapy–anemia (fact-an) in dialysis and non-dialysis patients with anemia associated with chronic kidney disease
Anemia is a common complication in patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD). The Functional Assessment of Cancer Therapy-Anemia (FACT-An), which measures health-related quality of life and anemia symptoms in cancer patients, has been used as an outcome measure in CKD trials. We assessed the measurement properties of FACT-An scores in CKD-related anemia.
