Height influences risk of cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and cancer

(Deutsches Zentrum fuer Diabetesforschung DZD) Scientists at the German Center for Diabetes Research (DZD) and the Harvard School of Public Health describe the relationship of the worldwide increase in height with the development of leading chronic non-communicable diseases in the journal The Lancet Diabetes & Endocrinology. The authors discuss which dietary factors and other mechanisms may explain these associations.
