Low serum testosterone and increased diastolic ocular perfusion pressure: a risk for retinal microvasculature.

CONCLUSIONS: These results suggest an independent, protective effect of testosterone on the retinal vasculature where an apparent vasodilatory response in the retinal resistance microvessels was observed in white men.
