We report a case of CVST in a 42-year-old male admitted with meningococcal meningitis. The patient was managed with antibiotics. Due to altered coagulation parameters observed in fulminant cases of meningococcemia, deployment of anticoagulation therapy, which would otherwise be the treatment of choice for CVST, is a dilemma. CONCLUSION: Zika virus has the potential to be transmitted in Argentina throughout the current geographic range of the mosquito vector. Although the transmission would be mainly seasonal, the possibility of winter transmission cannot be excluded in northern and central Argentina, meaning that there is a potential endemic maintenance of the disease.
