Stereotactic radiosurgery in the management of skull base chordomas: a comprehensive systematic review and meta-analysis

CONCLUSIONS: This systematic review provides evidence on the safety and effectiveness of radiosurgery in the management of skull base chordomas. Local tumor control was achieved in the majority of patients treated with SRS. Various baseline characteristics and SRS features have been analyzed to identify modifying factors for each outcome to provide a framework for informed decision-making when managing these patients.PMID:38691855 | DOI:10.3171/2024.2.FOCUS249
