ConclusionsHalf of patients admitted with AHF experience WHF or new-onset CS. Chronic kidney disease, tricuspid valve regurgitation, and elevated pro-adrenomedullin concentrations predict these events. They could potentially serve as early warning signs for further deterioration in AHF patients.
