Dogs Barking and Babies Crying: The Effect of Environmental Noise on Physiological State and Cognitive Performance
CONCLUSION: Exposure to the sound of crying babies and dogs barking leads to increased sympathetic response and decreased cognitive ability, as compared to exposure to control sounds.
