Patients with crohn's disease affected by non-alcoholic fatty liver disease have a greater risk of mortality and worse clinical outcomes
Crohn's disease (CD) has a high prevalence rate and it affects millions of patients worldwide. Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease (NAFLD) is an emerging disease predisposing to adverse outcomes. There is limited evidence of clinical outcomes of NAFLD in patients with CD. We sought to investigate this population.
