Multi-drug-resistant tuberculosis and its associated factors among pulmonary tuberculosis patients linked to first-line anti-tuberculosis drugs in north-west Ethiopia

Conclusion. The prevalence of MDR-TB was high (9.3 %) and contributed highly to new cases (8.3 %). Factors associated with MDR-TB were previous treatment, co-morbidity and laboratory diagnosis method prior to TB treatment.
