ConclusionsGDM is a frequently observed complication among pregnant women which can lead to adverse maternal and fetal outcomes as well as several complications such as cesarean delivery, postpartum hemorrhage, pre-eclampsia, polyhydramnios, UTI and vaginal candidiasis as compared to those without GDM.
