Astaxanthin alleviates PM < sub > 2.5 < /sub > -induced cardiomyocyte injury via inhibiting ferroptosis

CONCLUSIONS: Our study suggest that ferroptosis plays a significant role in the pathogenesis of cardiomyocyte injury induced by PM2.5.
