Left atrial appendage occlusion for atrial fibrillation and bleeding diathesis
ConclusionsShort-term anti-thrombotic drugs may not be needed after LAAO implant in patients with high bleeding risk and could be harmful. Larger, prospective studies would be warranted to test these findings.
