ConclusionThe use of corticosteroids could increase the risk of muscle pain following COVID-19 vaccination. Additionally, factors such as female sex, younger age and current or former smoking can affect the incidence of fever or chills. This information should encourage patients with IBD to get vaccinated against COVID-19.
