ConclusionPNENs may be pathologically diagnosed using PCT-CNB. While differential diagnoses between LCNEC and SCLC are problematic in some patients, a HGNEC-NOS diagnosis was ascribed and PCT-CNB samples were shown to predict NEN OS rates.
