The impact of pediatric congenital heart disease on primary teeth structure: a histological study
Conclusions: CHD can alter the natural structure formation of primary teeth. Histologically, enamel, dentin, and odontoblasts layer thickness reduction are found in primary teeth in children with ventricular septal defects.PMID:38054687 | DOI:10.23750/abm.v94i6.14567 (Source: Acta Bio-Medica : Atenei Parmensis)

Congenital tunnel ‐shaped ventricular septal defect
We report a 47-year-old man who presented with right-sided heart failure. Transthoracic echocardiography revealed a tunnel-shaped communication (ventricular septal defect) between the left ventricle and the right ventricle with a significant left-to-right shunt. The VSD is connected to the lateral wall of the right ventricle by a large tunnel. (Source: Clinical Case Reports)
