Cinematic Rendering of Arterial Thoracic Outlet Syndrome from Intraarterial-CTA
A 56-year-old women presented with tingling, tightening sensation and moderate pain in her right armpit when raising her right hand. Eden test and Wright test were positive. Computed Tomography Angiography (CTA) was performed, indicating moderate stenosis and compression of the right subclavian artery from the clavicle. Interventional access was gained via the femoral artery in preparation for intraarterial pressure measurement. Consecutive CTAs were acquired with contrast medium being applied intraarterially for increased vascular detail and dynamic imaging. (Source: Journal of Vascular Surgery)

The Impact of Competitive Level of High School and Collegiate Athletes on Outcomes of Thoracic Outlet Syndrome
Thoracic outlet syndrome has life changing impact on young athletes. As the level of competition increases between the high school (HS) and collegiate (CO), the stage of athletics the impact of TOS may differ. Our objective is to compare surgical outcomes of thoracic outlet syndrome in HS and CO athletes. (Source: Journal of Vascular Surgery)

Magnetic resonance imaging for diagnosis of suspected neurogenic thoracic outlet syndrome-a systematic scoping review
Conclusion: Our review highlights a prevalent lack of detailed MRI protocol documentation for brachial plexus. Authors primarily rely on conventional 1.5T systems, employing standard T1 and T2-weighted sequences. The adoption of novel MRI sequences is notably lacking, and fat suppression techniques predominantly adhere to older methods as STIR. There is a clear imperative for authors to provide more comprehensive reporting of the MRI protocols utilized in their studies, ultimately enhancing comparability and clinical applicability. Establishing clear protocol reporting guidelines is crucial to allow for comparison between ...

Erector Spinae Versus Surgically Placed Pain Catheters for Thoracic Outlet Decompression
Perioperative care after surgery for thoracic outlet syndrome (TOS) involves multimodal pain control. Pain catheters with bupivacaine infusion are a modality to minimize perioperative narcotic use. Our study aims to compare surgically placed pain catheters (SP) with erector spinae pain catheters (ESP) placed by the anesthesia pain service. (Source: Annals of Vascular Surgery)
