Stroke severity modified the effect of chronic atrial fibrillation on the outcome of thrombolytic therapy
This study was designed to identify high-risk patients with chronic AF who had undergone thrombolysis treatment and to explore whether the baseline National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) could be used to distinguish poor clinical outcomes in thrombolyzed patients.

Efficacy of Rosuvastatin Combined with rt-PA Intravenous Thrombolytic Therapy for Elderly Acute Ischemic Stroke Patients
CONCLUSION: ROS combined with rt-PA ivTT can better enhance the therapeutic efficacy of elderly patients with AIS, improve their neurological function, and reduce serum inflammatory responses.PMID:35756414 | PMC:PMC9217586 | DOI:10.1155/2022/9403693

Clinical Value of Combined Detection of UA and MMP-9 in Evaluating Bleeding Transformation and Prognosis After Thrombolysis in Acute Cerebral Infarction
Appl Biochem Biotechnol. 2022 Jun 21. doi: 10.1007/s12010-022-03990-w. Online ahead of print.ABSTRACTThis paper presents an in-depth study and analysis of the assessment of hemorrhagic transformation and prognostic outcome after thrombolysis in acute cerebral infarction using a combined test and evaluates its clinical value. The ischemic tissue hemodynamic changes were compared and analyzed by the combined application of magnetic resonance conventional examination. Single-factor and multi-factor Logistic regression analysis was applied to the model group samples to determine the independent influencing factors of hemorrhag...

Danhong injection combined with tPA protects the BBB through Notch-VEGF signaling pathway on long-term outcomes of thrombolytic therapy
In this study, the rats were randomly divided into sham group, vehicle group, DHI group (4 mL/kg), tPA group (5 mg/kg) and DHI+tPA group (4 mL/kg+ 2.5 mg/kg), administered intravenously 4.5 h since focal embolic stroke modeling. After 3 days and 7 days of cerebral ischemia, the neurological function of each treatment group was significantly improved compared with the vehicle group. The combination of DHI and tPA significantly reduced Evans blue (EB) penetration as well as the expressions of the proteins MMP-9, PAI-1 and P-selectin, while upregulating the expressions of claudin-5, occludin, and ZO-1 mRNA. Furthermore, the e...

The impact of blood pressure variation on mortality and symptomatic intracerebral hemorrhage in acute stroke patients after thrombolysis
In conclusion, in-hospital systolic (SD, SV and CV) and diastolic (SV, SD) BPV profiles were associated with death and sICH in stroke patients after rt-PA therapy.

Cervical carotid occlusion in acute ischemic stroke: Should we give tPA?
CONCLUSION: Emergent revascularization with acute cICA stenting carries advantages, but its safety is precluded by tPA administration. We suggest a trial which randomizes patients with cICA occlusions to receiving either tPA or dual antiplatelet therapy before surgical intervention, aiming to ultimately improved outcomes in these patients.PMID:35509556 | PMC:PMC9063023 | DOI:10.25259/SNI_176_2022
