Perioperative adverse cardiac events and mortality after non-cardiac surgery: a multicenter study
CONCLUSIONS: A nationwide multicenter study showed that PACE was significantly associated with increased one-year mortality. This association was stronger in high-risk surgery, older, male, and chronic kidney disease subgroups. A protocol based on Hypotension probability indicator vs. standard care to prevent intraoperative hypotension during supratentorial brain surgery: a prospective randomized pilot trial
CONCLUSIONS: In this pilot trial, the HPI-based protocol decreased the incidence of hypotension during the anesthesia maintenance but non-significant trends among secondary outcomes were also documented. Conclusion: We have established a safe, effective, stable and simple method to establish a canine nervous system aneurysm model with controllable size. In addition, this method has the advantages of no arteriotomy, less trauma, constant anatomical location, and low risk of stroke.

Post-induction hypotension and intraoperative hypotension as potential separate risk factors for the adverse outcome: a cohort study
ConclusionsThe presence of IOH defined as MAP ≤ 65 mmHg is relevant to post-operative organ complications, the presence of PIH does not appear to be of such significance. Because cumulative duration of PIH and IOH differs significantly, especially in long-lasting procedures, direct comparison of the influence of PIH and IOH on outcome s eparately may be biased and should be taken into account in data interpretation. Further research is needed to deeply investigate this phenomenon.
