Conclusions: The most common risk factors for community stroke patients in China are hypertension, dyslipidemia, and overweight or obesity. The stroke community patients’ suboptimal awareness and treatment of hypertension, and suboptimal awareness, treatment, and control of diabetes, and dyslipidemia are significant problems in China.

Value of Triglyceride-glucose Index for the Estimation of Ischemic Stroke Risk: Insights from a general Population
ConclusionThe prevent ischemic stroke correlated proportionally with the increment of TyG, implicating the linearity of TyG as an indicator of ischemic stroke. Our findings suggest the potential value of TyG to optimize the risk stratification of ischemic stroke in a general population.

Impact of Sarcopenia on Functional Outcomes Among Patients With Mild Acute Ischemic Stroke and Transient Ischemic Attack: A Retrospective Study
ConclusionsIn this study, the prevalence of sarcopenia in patients with stroke was lower than most of previous studies and patients with sarcopenia showed higher likelihood for unfavorable functional outcomes at 90 days after acute ischemic stroke or TIA. Further investigation of the interventions for treating sarcopenia and its impact on the outcome of ischemic stroke patients is needed.

Nuts and seeds consumption and risk of cardiovascular disease, type 2 diabetes and their risk factors: a systematic review and meta-analysis
CONCLUSION: There is a probable relationship between consumption of nuts/seeds and lower risk of CVD, mostly driven by CHD, possibly in part through effects on blood lipids.
