Legume consumption in adults and risk of cardiovascular disease and type 2 diabetes: a systematic review and meta-analysis
CONCLUSION: Legume consumption was not found to influence risk of CVD and T2D in healthy adult populations with generally low legume consumption. CONCLUSIONS: The basic Internet-based health management platform in this study appears to be moderately successful and is a valuable and feasible application. Atherosclerotic plaque formation occurs in the setting of excess oxidative and hemodynamic stress and is perpetuated by smoking, poor diet, dyslipidemia, hypertension, and diabetes. CONCLUSIONS: Prolonged TV viewing time was associated with higher risks of all-cause and CVD mortality in stroke or MI survivors and in persons without a history of them.
