Conclusion: BTX-A NT 201 for the treatment of post-stroke lower limb spasticity was safe and efficacious reducing muscle tone and spasms, and improving passive ankle dorsi-flexion movement. These results confirmed the safety and effectiveness of a new type of BTX-A, with low immunogenity, useful to improve rehabilitative treatment of post-stroke lower limb spasticity. Constraint-Induced Movement Therapy After Injection of Botulinum Toxin Type A for a Patient With Chronic Stroke: One-Year Follow-up Case Report.
DISCUSSION: The improved arm function could reflect improvements in volitional movements and coordination or speed of movements in the paretic arm that resulted from a reduction in spasticity, a reduction of learned nonuse behaviors, or use-dependent plasticity after the combination of BTX type A and constraint-induced movement therapy. Heart Rate Variability modifications induced by high doses of IncobotulinumtoxinA and OnabotulinumtoxinA in hemiplegic chronic stroke patients: A single blind randomized controlled, crossover pilot study.

Adhesive taping vs. daily manual muscle stretching and splinting after botulinum toxin type A injection for wrist and fingers spastic overactivity in stroke patients: a randomized controlled trial.

Physical therapy for an adult with chronic stroke after botulinum toxin injection for spasticity: a case report.

Combined effects of robot-assisted gait training and botulinum toxin type A effect on spastic equinus foot in patients with chronic stroke: a pilot, single blind, randomized controlled trial.
CONCLUSIONS: Our preliminary findings support the hypothesis that robot-assisted gait training does not enhance the effect of botulinum toxin type A on spastic equinus foot in patients with chronic stroke. Functional outcomes following ultrasound-guided botulinum toxin type A injections to reduce spastic equinovarus in adult post-stroke patients.
CONCLUSION: Spastic equinovarus deformity observed in patients after stroke creates significant limitations in the patient's functional walking speed and distance. As a result, when BoNT-A injections accompanied by ultrasound to improve equinovarus deformity considering the innervation zones of the muscles with a specific approach are administered directly into the muscle at the correct point, we can say it provides hopeful results from a functional point of view. Diagnostic nerve block in prediction of outcome of botulinum toxin treatment for spastic equinovarus foot after stroke: A pilot retrospective observational study.
CONCLUSION: This study confirmed diagnostic nerve block as a valuable screening tool in deciding whether to treat spastic equinovarus with botulinum toxin. However, the results support the evidence that diagnostic nerve block results in a greater reduction in muscle overactivity than does botulinum toxin type A in patients with spastic equinovarus due to stroke.
