Parkinson ’ s Patients Get More Mobility And Better Balance With Whole Body Vibration Therapy
I’ve always believed that with a little coaxing, your body can self-heal – and the same is true for your brain. Conventional doctors will never tell you this. For them, being a physician means managing symptoms with Big Pharma meds. But for years, I’ve been helping patients recover using dietary changes, lasers, stem cells, and hyperbaric oxygen (HBOT). These therapies help your body heal itself. No Big Pharma drug can do this. But I recently began researching another natural therapy – called Whole Body Vibration, or WBV – that can help Parkinson’s patients regain their mobility and balance. WBV isn’t new. It...

The association between arterial hypertension and menarcheal age
Arterial hypertension (AHTN) is considered the most important risk factor for cardiovascular disease (CVD) and premature death. In low-income and middle-income countries, about 50  % of stroke and ischemic heart disease incidents and approximately 7.6 million deaths are secondary to AHTN [1,2]. It is not only highly prevalent but is still rapidly growing; as a result, studies estimate that by 2025 its prevalence will reach>29  % [3]. Research in Iran (2011) illustrated that the prevalence of AHTN and pre-hypertension is 25.6 % and 39.8 % in adults aged 25–70 years, respectively [4].

Estimation and predictors of direct hospitalisation expenses and in-hospital mortality for patients who had a stroke in a low-middle income country: evidence from a nationwide cross-sectional study in Iranian hospitals
Conclusion Applying cost-effective stroke prevention strategies among the younger population (≤49 years old) is strongly recommended. Migration to universal health insurance can effectively reduce the inequality gap among all insured patients.

Measuring the burden of comorbidity for ischaemic heart disease and four common non-communicable diseases in Iran, 1990-2017: a modelling study based on global burden of diseases data
Conclusion Of the four comorbidities studied, the highest burden was due to the coexistence of MDD with IHD. Our results highlight the importance of addressing the burden of comorbidities when studying the burden of IHD or any other non-communicable disease.

Incidence, early case fatality and determinants of stroke in Iran: Golestan Cohort Study
CONCLUSION: Efficient risk factor control can considerably reduce stroke occurrence and fatality in our study. Establishing awareness campaigns and 24-hour stroke units seem necessary for improving the stroke management in this area.PMID:35973398 | DOI:10.1016/j.jstrokecerebrovasdis.2022.106658

Investigating the role of susceptibility weighted imaging for assessment of ischemic penumbra with respect to Venus blood flow in ischemic stroke patients
CONCLUSIONS: Significant data on critically perfused cerebral cortex with possibility of infarction growth was focused on in elevated SWI investigations, contributing to SWI as a worthy MR implies that could be attached as complementary protocols to neuroimaging techniques for acute ischemia, according to the findings of this study.PMID:35891933 | PMC:PMC9301177
