Tongue and pulse features of 668 asymptomatic patients infected with the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 omicron variant in Shanghai
CONCLUSION: Our preliminary results showed that wind, heat, and dampness were the main etiologies of the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 Omicron (B.1.1.529) variant infection in traditional Chinese medicine. Furthermore, the main symptoms of the disease may be wind-heat invading the lung syndrome or damp-heat with the exuberance of virulence syndrome, which is of most significance in COVID-19 treatment.PMID:36378060 | DOI:10.19852/j.cnki.jtcm.20220922.004

Genetic susceptibility, homocysteine levels, and risk of all-cause and cause-specific mortality: a prospective cohort study
CONCLUSIONS: Elevated Hcy levels were associated with increased risk of all-cause and cause-specific mortality among middle-aged and elderly Chinese. Association of the triglyceride-glucose index and vascular target organ damage in a Beijing community-based population

Association of polygenic risk scores with incident atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease events among individuals with coronary artery calcium score of zero: The multi-ethnic study of atherosclerosis
CONCLUSIONS: Among individuals with CAC = 0, the ASCVD PRS was associated with incident ASCVD events. This appears to be driven by genetic variants related to stroke but not CHD, and particularly among women and non-Whites.
