Early arrival did not ensure the early acquisition of intravenous thrombosis for acute ischemic stroke during the COVID ‐19 pandemic
ConclusionsA speed-safety tradeoff phenomenon from the deadline effect was observed in 17.2% of IVT cases during the COVID-19 pandemic, where longer DIT contributed a lot to this time delay. Patients without medical insurance, or admitted in official holidays were more likely to experience a delay of the deadline effect.

Daylight saving time and the incidence of thrombolysis to treat acute ischemic stroke.

Sex Disparities in Ischemic Stroke Care: FL-PR CReSD Study (Florida-Puerto Rico Collaboration to Reduce Stroke Disparities) Clinical Sciences
Conclusions— Women received comparable stroke care to men in this registry as measured by prespecified Get With The Guidelines metrics. However, women less likely received thrombolysis and had door-to-needle time <1 hour, an observation that calls for the implementation of interventions to reduce sex disparity in these measures.

Validation of Stroke and Thrombolytic Therapy in Korean National Health Insurance Claim Data.
CONCLUSIONS: Discharge with hemorrhagic stroke and use of thrombolytic therapy were identified with high reliability in administrative discharge data. Adverse Outcomes After Initial Non-surgical Management of Subdural Hematoma: A Population-Based Study
Conclusions Approximately one in eight patients with a conservatively managed SDH was readmitted with SDH within 90 days. A substantial proportion of these readmissions involved surgical hematoma evacuation. These outcomes occurred significantly more often after nontraumatic as compared to traumatic SDH.

Identifying Barriers in Acute Stroke Therapy in Argentina. ARENAS Registry (P2.014)
