Value of Detecting Peri ‐Device Leak and Incomplete Endothelialization by Cardiac CT Angiography in Atrial Fibrillation Patients Post Watchman LAAC Combined with Radiofrequency Ablation
CONCLUSIONSCCTA is feasible to evaluate PDL and device endothelialization after LAAC. The maximum diameter of LAA orifice derived from CT can independently predict the occurrence of post-LAAC PDL.This article is protected by copyright. All rights reserved.

EP59 Successful mechanical thrombectomy after microsurgical clipping of a ruptured middle cerebral artery aneurysm
We report about a 62 year old woman who was brought to the emergency room after being found down at home. On admission she was somnolent but accessible with mild focal neurological deficits. A computed tomography of the brain revealed a right temporal hematoma with subarachnoid and intraventricular hemorrhage due to a ruptured saccular aneurysm of the MCA trifurcation. A surgical approach was considered best treatment option and microsurgical clipping was performed. Intraoperative microvascular Doppler depicted a spontaneous thrombus formation in M1-Segment and the patient was transferred to the angio-suite for a mechanica...

EP65 Mechanical thrombectomies, initial experiences from Kosovo Case series presentation
ConclusionEndovascular treatment has proven to be safe and efficacious for AIS. Our patients recovered and were discharged within 7–11 days after ictus.mRS after 90 days 0 at two (male) patients,mRS 1 at two patients and one patient is mRS 3.These case series demonstrate the clinical efficacy, safety, and favorable clinical outcome of first mechanical thrombectomies performed in Kosovo.ReferencesHeider D, Simgen A, Wagenpfeil G, et al. Statin Therapy in HIGH-Risk Individuals with NORMal Coronary Arteries: The HIGH-NORM Study
CONCLUSIONS: Statin use was not associated with cardiovascular risk reduction in high-risk persons with normal or near normal coronary arteries. More individualised lipid-lowering therapy may benefit this population.PMID:34334544 | DOI:10.5551/jat.63004
