P124/272 Initial encounter with a cutting-edge mobile head CT scanner (Somatom On.site) in a neuro-intensive care unit
ConclusionThe study demonstrates the clinical effectiveness of modern mobile CT scanners in neurointensive care units. The Somatom On.site provides sufficient image quality, saves time and supports timely decision making. The integration of mobile CT scanners in NICUs improves patient care and workflow. Exploratory study to assess feasibility of intracerebral hemorrhage detection by point of care cranial ultrasound
ConclusionsOur exploratory analysis yielded preliminary data on use of point of care cranial ultrasound for ICH diagnosis to inform imaging techniques, cranial topography on B mode and sample size estimation for future studies to evaluate sensitivity and specificity of cranial POCUS in adult patients. This pilot study is limited by small sample size and over representation of ICH in the study. Cranial POCUS is feasible using POCUS machines and may have potential as a screening tool if validated in adequately powered studies.

ConclusionIn rare cases, ruptured intracranial aneurysms can be associated with isolated subdural hemorrhage. Common treatment options include endovascular coiling and microsurgical clipping. ConclusionSubarachnoid hyperdensity in head CT scans within the first 24 hours after mechanical thrombectomy is relatively archetypal. The issue arises in discriminating between pure contrast stagnation and other bleeding types to conduct a more specific treatment for patients with such complications, even though SAH post-thrombectomy carries a favorable prognosis.Disclosures V. Epidemiology, investigation, management, and outcome  of headache in emergency departments (HEAD study)-A multinational observational study
CONCLUSION: Diagnosis and management of headache in the ED is challenging. A small group of patients have a serious secondary cause for their symptoms. There is wide variation in the use of neuroimaging and treatments.
