E-030 Incidence and risk factors for new seizure after ischemic stroke in a single institution series
DiscussionThe literature on new onset seizures after stroke describes a range of incidences and risk factors, as there is variation in the studied populations. Here we report the incidence of post-stroke seizures in all patients diagnosed with ischemic stroke in a 3-year period. The most significant predictor was hemorrhagic transformation, and this was driven by IPH.Disclosures K. Carroll: None. E. Federico: None. I. Stafstrom: None. E. Skinner: None. M. Maraghe: None. M. Implementing the SNIS recommendations for neurointerventional emergent care in the setting of COVID-19: impact on stroke metrics and patient outcomes
Conclusions The COVID-19 pandemic did not significantly affect stroke admission volume or acute stroke treatment utilization. Outcomes were not affected by implementing SNIS guidelines. Although there was a statistical increase in time to groin puncture for ET, it was not clinically meaningful. These results suggest hospitals managing patients efficiently can implement practices in response to COVID-19 without impacting outcomes.

E-064 single center analysis of the safety and efficacy of a streamlined stroke admission paradigm
ConclusionWe sought to explore the safety and efficacy of the FastTrack protocol in reducing door to CT time as a measure of stroke team response while maintaining good patient care. We found that an expedited route through the ED may save valuable minutes in stroke assessment, treatment and intervention. Further studies are needed to establish the role of faster admission protocols on suspected strokes.DisclosuresT. Sabharwal: None. K. Sivakumar: None. K. Arcot: None. H. Dababneh: None. R. O-035 The Dotter Technique Revisited: Early Experience using this Technique for Treating Tandem Lesions in Acute Stroke
Conclusion The Dotter Stroke technique is a safe alternative to carotid stenting, and may be useful in patients at increased risk for haemorrhage. In this small series, a post-Dotter stenosis >75% is associated with re-occlusion, and stenting should be performed to prevent re-occlusion. No re-occlusion was identified at 30 days with post-Dotter stenosis <= 65%. Disclosures B. Woodward: None. E. Nyberg: None. S. Wegryn: None.

E-036 age, stroke severity, use of stent retrievers, general anesthesia, and hemorrhagic conversion may predict outcome in stroke patients who undergo successful intra-arterial therapy
ConclusionAge, NIHSS score, use of stent retrievers, mode of anesthesia, and symptomatic ICH might affect functional outcome in stroke patients who achieve successful recanalization via intra-arterial therapy. Prospective studies, or a meta-analysis of sub-groups in the recently published prospective trials are needed to confirm the association between those factors, or others, and functional outcome. Identification of such predictors might help in screening acute stroke patients for intra-arterial therapy.DisclosuresM. Noufal: None. J. Mankad: None. D. Shirilla: None. A. Lakraj: None. J. The association between carotid intraplaque hemorrhage and outcomes of carotid stenting: a systematic review and meta-analysis
Conclusions Our systematic review and meta-analysis demonstrated that patients with IPH on pre-carotid stenting MRI had higher rates of silent ischemia as well as of a composite outcome of perioperative stroke, death, and MI compared with those without IPH.

O-016 Outcomes after endovascular mechanical thrombectomy for low national institutes of health stroke scale (NIHSS): a multicenter study
ConclusionsMT is an effective and safe treatment for appropriately selected ischemic stroke patients presenting with low NIHSS. Diabetes and prior stroke are predictors of functional dependence at 90 days, and prior stroke is also associated with mortality, suggesting that MT should be offered judiciously to patients with these risk factors. Our findings signal the need for a randomized trial comparing MT versus medical management for LVO patients with low NIHSS.Disclosures I. Abecassis: 2; C; IschemaView (Rapid), Remedy Robotics. E.
