The effect of robot-assisted walking in different modalities on cardiorespiratory responses and energy consumption in patients with subacute stroke
DISCUSSION: By decreasing GF and BWS values during robot-assisted walking, adequate cardio-metabolic and energy response in both subacute stroke patients and healthy individuals could be achieved. Correlates of participation six months after stroke in an Italian population: results from the RIPS (Post-Stroke Intensive Rehabilitation) Study
CONCLUSIONS: In our cohort of patients addressing postacute stroke rehabilitation, prestroke participation levels were on average good, while they were severely reduced six months after stroke for all the considered items except reading and making trips. How the work of respiratory physiotherapists changes the tracheostomy management and decannulation in a NICU department: an Italian experience
We described the number of decannulations, the length of stay in NICU and decannulation time; the diagnosis of decannulated patients and the number of deaths. 928 total patients were analysed: 468 in P1, 460 in P2. Total length of stay or number of deaths did not change significantly between the two periods, while the number of decannulated patients before the discharge was higher in P2 143 (64%), compared with P1 79 (36%) p<0.001. Multi-Center Randomized Phase II Clinical Trial on Remote Ischemic Conditioning in Acute Ischemic Stroke Within 9 Hours of Onset in Patients Ineligible to Recanalization Therapies (TRICS-9): Study Design and Protocol
Conclusion: RIC in combination with recanalization therapies appears to add no clinical benefit to patients, but whether it is beneficial to those that are not candidates for recanalization therapies is still to be demonstrated. Reduction in Neurological Disease Hospitalization Rate During Covid-19 Pandemic in Abruzzo
ConclusionsDespite the severity of the diseases included in MDC 1 (i.e. ischemic stroke, intracranial hemorrhage), a significant decline was detected in hospital admissions in Abruzzo.
