Diagnostic potential of routine brain MRI and high-resolution, multi-contrast vessel wall imaging in the detection of internal carotid artery dissection
Conclusion: The combination of brain MRI and clinical information could be used for the diagnosis of CAD and hrVWI should be sought for uncertain cases.

Dizziness in a tertiary neurological department: A cross ‐sectional study
ConclusionThe diagnosis and management of dizziness remain a challenge for clinicians. Vertigo and light-headedness were the most common symptoms among different types of dizziness. Benign paroxysmal positional vertigo and stroke/transient ischemic attack were among the leading causes for common dizziness disorders. The prognosis of most dizzy patients was good.

Case report: Acute ischemic stroke caused by intracranial artery dissection in a patient with skull fractures
We report a 53-year-old man fell to develop blunt cerebrovascular injuries (BCVIs) more than 2 months ago. During his rehabilitation, he often had a transient left headache and underwent short-term right limb weakness twice, but he did not care. He was hospitalized again because of suffering right limb weakness for more than 4 h. The brain computed tomography angiography (CTA) showed subtotal occlusion of the left middle cerebral artery M1 segment, and the vascular morphology displayed the IAD. The patient was then treated with balloon dilation and a self-expanding stent. This case highlights that IAD may show delayed onse...

Ocular Migraine With Amaurosis Fugax of the Left Eye: A Case Report
Cureus. 2022 Aug 22;14(8):e28272. doi: 10.7759/cureus.28272. eCollection 2022 Aug.ABSTRACTIn amaurosis fugax, there is a sudden loss of vision in one eye. Patients gain their vision after a few minutes. The most common underlying cause is atherosclerosis of the internal carotid artery. Other underlying causes include vasospasm of the internal carotid artery, which leads to hypoperfusion and is seen in vasculitis, ocular migraines, and systemic lupus erythematosus. In this case study, a 44-year-old male with a past medical history of migraine with aura presented to the emergency room with transient vision loss in the left e...

Spontaneous intracerebral hemorrhage, initial computed tomography (CT) scan findings, clinical manifestations and possible risk factors
In this study, we aimed to evaluate the initial computed tomography (CT) scan findings, clinical manifestations and possible risk factors of patients with intracerebral hemorrhage. This is a cross-sectional study that was performed in 2015-2022 on 900 patients with definite diagnosis of intracerebral hemorrhage. Data of patients were evaluated for patient's age, gender, clinical manifestations, primary radiologic signs in CT scan and possible risks factors for stroke. Lobar hemorrhage was the most common site of involvement (324 patients, 36%) followed by lenticular (putamen) (294 patients, 32.7%) and thalamus (135 patient...

E-108 Ruptured intracranial aneurysm presenting as isolated acute subdural hemorrhage
ConclusionIn rare cases, ruptured intracranial aneurysms can be associated with isolated subdural hemorrhage. Common treatment options include endovascular coiling and microsurgical clipping. However, endovascular repair is often preferred especially when the patient may not be able to tolerate a surgical procedure, as was the case with this patient. In this case, the patient presented with stroke-like symptoms and was found to have a subdural hemorrhage. After emergent craniotomy to evacuate the hematoma, successful endovascular coiling was performed, and the patient was stabilized for further management>Disclosures D....

Infratentorial developmental venous anomaly concurrent with a cavernoma and dural arteriovenous fistula
A 32-year-old woman underwent a head computed tomography scan after a traffic accident. A calcification in the left cerebellar hemisphere was disclosed. She did not complain of any symptoms, but neurological examination revealed cerebellar ataxia. She did not have any preceding episodes since birth, such as acute-onset headache. Magnetic resonance imaging showed past hemorrhage of the calcification lesion suggestive of a cerebellar cavernoma. A dilated vascular structure was also observed (Fig.  1A, B).
