Determinants of exercise intolerance in breast cancer patients prior to anthracycline chemotherapy
We sought to interrogate previous reports that fitness in breast cancer patients was less than expected for community norms. As compared with healthy control subjects, we observed reduced oxygen consumption capacity in recently diagnosed breast cancer patients prior to treatment. This reduced capacity was associated with smaller heart size and reduced peak exercise cardiac output. This may suggest that reduced exercise conditioning is associated with breast cancer risk. Longitudinal association between brain volume change and gait speed in a general population.

Korean JLK Inspection launches AI-powered imaging diag system
Korean JLK Inspection said yesterday that it launched its AIHub artificial intelligence-powered medical image diagnostics platform. Polyglobulia in patients with hemangioblastomas is related to tumor size but not to serum erythropoietin
ConclusionsWe therefore conclude that in contrast to previous case reports and interpretations, our data show no correlation between polyglobulia and EPO levels or associated cysts in patients with hemangioblastomas. Incidental primary mediastinal choriocarcinoma diagnosed by endobronchial ultrasound ‐guided fine needle aspiration in a patient presenting with transient ischemic attack and stroke
We describe a case of a 41‐year old male patient with no significant prior medical history who presents with symptoms of Transient Ischemic Attack and stroke. Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) of the brain identified areas of ischemia in the left side, and angiography showed occlusion of the left Medial Cerebral Artery (MCA). Cardiac Transthoracic Echocardiogram (TTE) for stroke evaluation incidentally noted a mediastinal abnormality leading to cancer work‐up.
