NAP1L5 targeting combined with MYH9 Inhibit HCC progression through PI3K/AKT/mTOR signaling pathway
In this study, low expression of NAP1L5 was found in hepatocellular carcinoma, and the downregulation of NAP1L5 was related to shorter survival and disease-free survival. In addition, its expression is also related to the tumor size and recurrence of hepatocellular carcinoma. The overexpression and knockdown of NAP1L5 by plasmid and siRNA showed that NAP1L5 inhibited the proliferation, migration and invasion and induced apoptosis of hepatoma cells. In vivo experiments confirmed that NAP1L5 can inhibit the growth and metastasis of hepatocellular carcinoma cells. In the mechanistic study, we found that NAP1L5 affects the occ...

circRERE regulates the expression of GBX2 through miR-1299 and ZC3H13/N < sup > 6 < /sup > -methyladenosine (m < sup > 6 < /sup > A) to promote growth and invasion of hepatocellular carcinoma cells
J Biosci. 2022;47:52.ABSTRACTHepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is one of the most common malignant tumours in the world. Current studies have shown that circular RNAs (circRNAs) and N6-methyladenosine (m6A) methylation play important roles in the progression of HCC, but further studies are needed to confirm the underlying mechanisms. The expression of circRERE was significantly upregulated in HCC cells, and its downregulation reduced HCC cell viability and invasion while increasing apoptosis. Further study showed that circRERE bound directly to miR- 1299. After downregulating the expression of circRERE, miR-1299 expression wa...

Downregulation of senescence-associated secretory phenotype by knockdown of secreted frizzled-related protein 4 contributes to the prevention of skin aging
Aging (Albany NY). 2022 Sep 7;14(undefined). doi: 10.18632/aging.204273. Online ahead of print.ABSTRACTThere is growing evidence that the appearance and texture of the skin that is altered during the aging process are considerably enhanced by the accumulation of senescent dermal fibroblasts. These senescent cells magnify aging via an inflammatory, histolytic, and senescence-associated secretory phenotype (SASP). Secreted frizzled-related protein 4 (SFRP4) was previously determined to be expressed in dermal fibroblasts of aging skin, and its increased expression has been shown to promote cellular senescence. However, its ro...

Overexpression of Protein Phosphatase 2 Regulatory Subunit B"Alpha Promotes Glycolysis by Regulating Hexokinase 1 in Hepatocellular Carcinoma
CONCLUSION: Our findings showed the correlation of PPP2R3A and HK1 in the glycolysis of HCC, which reveals a new mechanism for the oncogenic roles of PPP2R3A in cancer.PMID:35945177 | DOI:10.3967/bes2022.082
