P2X7 Receptor-Induced Bone Cancer Pain by Regulating Microglial Activity via NLRP3/IL-1beta Signaling
CONCLUSION: These findings suggest that targeting the microglial P2X7R activated NLRP3/IL-1beta signaling pathway could serve as a potential strategy for BCP treatment.PMID:36375190

Abstracts of Presentations at the Association of Clinical Scientists 143 < sup > rd < /sup > Meeting Louisville, KY May 11-14,2022
Conclusion: These assays are suitable for routine diagnostic. The UltraFast NextGenPCR is the fastest with average time (30mins), followed by Agilent (2 hrs) and MassArray (6hrs). Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to examine, measure and compare results from different assays for SARS detection, evaluate and diagnose accurately, as well as being able to plan, organize and recommend a diagnostic procedure for diagnostic laboratory. Key words: SARS-CoV-2, RNA extraction, RT-PCR, limit of detection, quantification cycle, COVID-19, in vitro diagnostic tests, Agilent, Massarray, Ultrafast. [20] From t...

Spinal Nrf2 translocation may inhibit neuronal NF ‐κB activation and alleviate allodynia in a rat model of bone cancer pain
This study aimed to test the hypothesis that BCP induces the transfer of Nrf2 from the cytoplasm to the nucleus and further promotes nuclear transcription to activate heme oxygenase-1 (HO-1) and inhibit the activation of nuclear factor-kappa B (NF- κB) signalling, ultimately regulating the neuroinflammatory response. Von-Frey was used for behavioural analysis in BCP rats, while western blotting, real-time quantitative PCR (RT-PCR), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) were used to detect molecular expression changes, and immunofluore scence was used to detect cellular localization. We demonstrated that BCP induce...

i-Fect Delivers circRNA and miRNA
Blocks Bone Cancer PainAltered expression of circular RNA (circRNA) is recognized as a contributor to malignant pain where microRNA (miRNA) exerts an essential effect. Researchers used ouri-FectTMTransfection Kit to knock them down. Zhongqi Zhang, Xiaoxia Zhang, Yanjing Zhang, Jiyuan Li, Zumin Xing. AAV-mediated siRNA against TRPV1 reduces nociception in a rat model of bone cancer pain.
Conclusions: Knockdown of TRPV1 effectively ameliorated mechanical allodynia and thermal hyperalgesia induced by TCI. Our data demonstrated that modulate the expression of TRPV1 in the spinal cord could be a potential therapeutic approach for bone cancer pain. PMID: 31296147 [PubMed - as supplied by publisher]

The short interference RNA (siRNA) targeting NMUR2 relieves nociception in a bone cancer pain model of rat through PKC-ERK and PI3K-AKT pathways.
CONCLUSION: si-NMUR2 alleviates BCP via inactivation of PKC/ERK and PI3K/AKT signal pathways. PMID: 30914203 [PubMed - as supplied by publisher]
