The efficacy of CO2 angiography in the endovascular treatment of an acute iliac pseudoaneurysm
We report a case of a 39-year-old woman, allergic to iodine, with a recent kidney transplant, who presented in the emergency room with severe pain in the left iliac fossa. Angio CT-scan showed an acute pseudoaneurysm of the left common iliac artery. She was emergently treated with a stent-graft and CO<inf>2</inf> was used as main contrast medium. The intraoperative angiographies performed with carbon dioxide showed very well the rupture site and the pseudoaneurysm; the latter were more clearly visible with CO<inf>2</inf> compared with ICM. The reported case shows the efficacy of CO<inf>2</i...

O-058 PPODA as a mechanically stable and biocompatible coating for endovascular stents and flow diverters
ConclusionPPODA polymer coatings can improve biocompatibility and prevent thrombosis on FDs and stents by pre-coating wires for braiding or post-coating laser-cut stent devices. Future work will compare coating integrity and biocompatibility to established devices (i.e Pipeline Shield® and Fred-X®). Materials like PPODA may provide FDs and stents with a mechanically stable scaffold coating that promotes continuous re-endothelialization over an aneurysm neck, which can eliminate thrombosis and reduce recanalization rates.Abstract O-058 Figure 1SH-PEG-Silane and PPODA bound to a nitinol wire surface. Association between poly-sensitisation and sensitisation to staphylococcal enterotoxin A and B affecting allergic severity in children
ConclusionsAssociation between polysensitisation and sensitisation to SEs in children shows the higher the specific IgE levels for SEs, the higher the likelihood of polysensitisation. Considering the relationship between polysensitisation, high IgE levels, and the severity of allergic morbidity, sensitisation to SEs is thought to be related to allergy severity.

The Direct Impact of the COVID ‐19 Pandemic on Rhinology Practice
ConclusionsCOVID-19 significantly affected the number of patients seen, virtual visit encounters, nasal endoscopies, and imaging utilization. Further research is needed to determine if patient outcomes were impacted and if these changes in practice will persist. This article is protected by copyright. All rights reserved
