Ensuring Fairness in Medical Education Assessment
This study takes a first step in centering the margins as we as medical educators grow our understanding of the dynamics of promoting fairness in assessment. Intraindividual variability in sleep duration and college degree attainment
The objective of the current study was to examine the relationship between sleep characteristics and college degree attainment. Participants were 968 college students (72% female; mean age 19.7 [1.7]). Participants completed a psychosocial and sleep questionnaire battery followed by one week of daily sleep diaries. Identifying barriers individuals face in accessing fertility care after a gynecologic cancer diagnosis
CONCLUSION: Many premenopausal patients diagnosed with gynecologic malignancies are considering future childbearing at the time of diagnosis. Polypharmacy and Bleeding Outcomes After Percutaneous Coronary Intervention

Prevalence of neck pain and its associated factors in Africa: a systematic review and meta-analysis protocol
Discussion
This will be the first systematic review and meta-analysis to systematically identify and synthesise available literature on the prevalence of neck pain and its associated factors in Africa. The results of this review may assist health professionals and policymakers to plan and implement evidence-based strategies that will lessen the burden of neck pain.
Ethics and dissemination

Initial versus early switch to targeted therapy during first-line treatment among patients with biomarker-positive advanced or metastatic non-small cell lung cancer in the United States
CONCLUSION: In both unadjusted and adjusted analyses, there were no differences in the clinical outcomes observed among patients with a/mNSCLC in this study. This study found that initiating chemotherapy with an early switch to targeted therapy (within 56 days) of receiving biomarker positive results may be an acceptable strategy for a patient for whom immediate care is needed.PMID:37717466 | DOI:10.1016/j.ctarc.2023.100761
