In conclusion, among several side effects that have been described during the treatment of COVID-19 with sotrovimab, ischaemic stroke was not reported. Therefore, we here report a rare case of ischaemic stroke with early clinical manifestation after the administration of sotrovimab for the treatment of moderate COVID-19 in an immunocompromised patient for the first time.

Increased Stroke Risk Following Herpes Zoster Infection and Protection with Zoster Vaccine
CONCLUSION: Patients had a significantly higher risk of stroke within the first month following recent herpes zoster infection. Receipt of at least one zoster vaccination was found to mitigate this increased risk. Influenza vaccination and 1-year risk of myocardial infarction, stroke, heart failure, pneumonia, and mortality among intensive care unit survivors aged 65  years or older: a nationwide population-based cohort study
ConclusionsCompared with the unvaccinated ICU survivors, the influenza vaccinated ICU survivors had a lower 1-year risk of stroke and a lower 1-year risk of death, whereas no substantial association was observed for the risk of hospitalization for myocardial infarction, heart failure, or pneumonia. Our findings support influenza vaccination of individuals aged  ≥ 65 years.
