The Utility of the Memorable Messages Framework as an Intermediary Evaluation Tool for Fruit and Vegetable Consumption in a Nutrition Education Program
The objective of this qualitative study was to examine the use of the Memorable Messages Framework as an intermediary nutrition education program evaluation tool to determine what fruit and vegetable messages were reported as memorable and the characteristics of those memorable messages. Nutrition education effective in increasing fruit and vegetable consumption among overweight and obese adults.
The objectives of this study were to evaluate fruit and vegetable consumption patterns, including intake of antioxidant-rich fruits and vegetables, provide education about benefits of consuming fruits and vegetables, expose participants to different varieties of fruits and vegetables, and improve fruit and vegetable consumption. Linking agriculture and nutrition education to improve infant and young child feeding: Lessons for future programmes
Discussions (FGDs) were conducted with purposively selected project stakeholders (53 in Cambodia, 170 in Malawi), including government staff from the agriculture and health sectors. Results highlight that adoption of improved IYCF practices was facilitated by participation in nutrition education and practical cooking sessions, and supportive family and community structures. The effects of a nutrition education curriculum on improving young children's fruit and vegetable preferences and nutrition and health knowledge.
CONCLUSIONS: Findings suggest that a short, 6-week intervention that aligns with educational standards has the ability to significantly enhance children's outcomes and thus may be a more feasible option for teachers to incorporate into their classrooms than what is currently available. Dr. Yum's Preschool Food Adventure
is a hands-on curriculum designed to increase food acceptance in young children. A multidisciplinary team of professionals (pediatrician, feeding specialist, registered dietitian/nutritionist, and early childhood educator) developed the 24-month curriculum for delivery in child care settings and included a family component to reinforce concepts. Early education teachers deliver 1 lesson per month, and each month focuses on a unique fruit or vegetable. The lessons include a visual on how each food grows and encourage children to use their senses to touch, smell, listen to, and observe the whole fruit or vegetable.

Effects of a school-based gardening, cooking, and nutrition cluster randomized controlled trial on unprocessed and ultra-processed food consumption

Effect of nutritional promotion intervention on dietary adherence among type II diabetes patients in North Shoa Zone Amhara Region: quasi-experimental study
CONCLUSION: This study demonstrates that a nutrition-promoting intervention can significantly change patients' adherence to healthy eating behaviors and effectively improve their glycemic control. Health care providers should integrate programs that promote nutrition education into existing health systems service.
