Polysensitization and allergic multimorbidity: the extreme allergy phenotype from childhood to adulthood
Conclusion: In two different populations, we showed that the asthma-plus-rhinitis multimorbidity is associated with multiple sensitizations to respiratory allergens, and that the phenotype can be generalized to any age.

Chronic urticaria in most patients is poorly controlled. Results of the development, validation, and real life application of the arabic urticaria control test.
CONCLUSION: We developed the first linguistically validated Arabic UCT to improve CU management in Arabic speaking patients. We also found that disease control was poor in most CU patients, and is unaffected by age, disease duration, gender, subtype, triggers, history of atopy, and/or previous treatments. The asthma ‐rhinitis multimorbidity is associated with IgE polysensitization in adolescents and adults
ConclusionThe A+R+ phenotype combined the sensitization pattern of both the A‐R+ and A+R‐phenotypes. This multimorbid polysensitized phenotype seems to be generalizable to various ages and allergenic environments and may be associated with specific mechanisms. This article is protected by copyright. Severe cutaneous adverse reactions due to inappropriate medication use

This article is a description of the case of a 52-yearold female patient who had a non-ST elevation myocardial infarction after the administration of triamcinolone that was relieved with antihistaminic treatment. The patient had been diagnosed with dermatitis at another medical center and injected with 40 mg/mL (intravenous [IV]) of triamcinolone acetonide and developed chest pain 15 minutes after the first dose. Despite a normal physical examination and echocardiogram, laboratory tests revealed troponin positivity and an inferolateral ST depression was present on an electrocardiogram (ECG). The ECG findings and clinical s...

Food groups for allergen risk assessment: Combining food consumption data from different countries in Europe.
Abstract To prevent allergic reactions, food producers have to be able to make a knowledge based decision on whether to label their products with precautionary labelling. As many manufactured food products are sold in different countries across Europe, the allergen risk assessment should be estimated at the European levels. As currently, there are no pan-European food data suitable for food allergy risk assessment. The aim of this paper is to investigate if consumption data, at a meal level, from National Food Consumption Surveys, can be combined to form a common Food Consumption database. In this first attempt we...

Genetic polymorphisms of Th2 interleukins, history of asthma or eczema and childhood acute lymphoid leukaemia: Findings from the ESCALE study (SFCE)
Conclusion This study provides a new insight into the relationship between allergic symptoms and childhood acute lymphoid leukaemia, by suggesting this inverse association could be limited to children carrying certain genetic polymorphisms. If confirmed, these results could help better understand the biological mechanisms involved in the development of childhood acute lymphoid leukaemia.
