Preprocedural determination of an occlusion pathomechanism in endovascular treatment of acute stroke: a machine learning-based decision
Conclusions An ML-PM could accurately determine an occlusion pathomechanism with common preprocedural findings. A decision flowchart consisting of the four most influential findings was clinically applicable and superior to single common preprocedural findings for determining an occlusion pathomechanism.

Conclusions: Up to date, no data about PCIS and IVT are available from RTCs. Based on limited results from retrospective clinical studies and case series, IVT is safer for use in PCIS than in ACIS. Patients with brainstem ischemia, vertebral artery occlusion, and absence of basilar or posterior cerebral artery occlusion could be considered for treatment with IVT even in borderline cases. Ischemic Stroke Outcomes in Oman: Experience of a University Hospital Based Stroke Registry (P6.278)
Conclusions:Ischemic stroke in Oman reflects the high morbidity/mortality seen in most communities in the region. Imaging Characteristics of Ischemic Strokes Related to Patent Foramen Ovale Clinical Sciences
Conclusions— A PFO-stroke usually appears as a single cortical or multiple small ischemic lesions in the vertebrobasilar circulation without any visible vessel occlusion on angiography. The recanalization rate is significantly lower than in AF-stroke. These imaging characteristics of PFO-stroke may help to diagnose the mechanism and determine the treatment strategy.

Influence of Onset to Imaging Time on Radiological Thrombus Characteristics in Acute Ischemic Stroke
Conclusion: In our population of acute ischemic stroke patients, we found no clear association between onset-to-imaging time and radiological thrombus characteristics. This suggests that elapsed time from stroke onset plays a limited role in the interpretation of radiological thrombus characteristics and their effect on treatment results, at least in the early time window.
