Structuring and organizing interprofessional healthcare in partnership with patients with diabetes: the INterprofessional Management and Education in Diabetes care (INMED) pathway
The objective of this study is to describe the preliminary results of its adoption and implementation. The INMED care pathway is organized into four axes: (a) continuing professional education, (b) self-management support, (c) case management, and (d) ongoing evaluation of the quality of diabetes care and services. A multiple-case study is underway to document its effects on practice change using the Reach, Effectiveness, Adoption, Implementation, and Maintenance (RE-AIM) framework. ConclusionDespite the general view that understanding of odontology is considered to be rather homogenous in the Nordic countries, the education varies across the dental schools. This variation may inspire dental educators in the future planning dental curricula.

Conclusions: Good diabetes control can be achieved in routine diabetes care with flexible intensified insulin therapy based on continuing patients’ education and with a minimum of 4 SMBGs per day.

Attitudes of Students at a US Medical School Toward Mental Illness and Its Causes.
CONCLUSIONS: Sociocultural influences and personal experience with mental illness have a greater effect than medical education on attitudes toward people with mental illness. Patient and prescriber characteristics among patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus continuing or discontinuing sulfonylureas following insulin initiation: data from a large commercial database.
