The effect of acupuncture on enteral nutrition and gastrointestinal dynamics in patients who have suffered a severe stroke
CONCLUSION: Acupuncture improved the enteral nutrition status of patients who had suffered a severe stroke and promoted gastrointestinal motility. The combination of acupuncture and early enteral nutrition could reduce damage to the gastrointestinal mucosal barrier caused by stress, changes in metabolism, and improved gastrointestinal function.PMID:35996236 | DOI:10.2174/1567202619666220822123023

Related Factors of Cerebral Hemorrhage after Cerebral Infarction and the Effect of Atorvastatin Combined with Intensive Nursing Care
CONCLUSION: Patients with hypertension, large infarction lesions, high NIHSS score at admission, atrial fibrillation, and small artery occlusion cerebral infarction can increase the risk of bleeding transformation in patients with cerebral infarction. The current practice of transcatheter aortic valve replacement in China
ConclusionsAmong patients undergoing transcatheter aortic valve replacement in China, device implantation success was achieved in 97.85% of cases. The most common vascular access approach was transfemoral. General anesthesia was the most commonly used anesthetic technique. Paravalvular leakage (458 patients, 21.89%) was the most common complication.

Antithrombotic therapy to prevent cognitive decline in people with small vessel disease on neuroimaging but without dementia
CONCLUSIONS: We found no convincing evidence to suggest any clinically relevant cognitive benefit of using antithrombotic therapy in addition to standard treatment in people with cerebral small vessel disease but without dementia, but there may be an increased bleeding risk with this approach. Renal safety evaluation of aspirin plus edaravone in patients with ischaemic stroke: a retrospective cohort study
Conclusions
Our study indicated that edaravone in patients with ischaemic stroke didn’t increase the nephrotoxicity of aspirin, and even had a protective effect on mild renal deterioration. Nevertheless, there is a need to be cautious when patients are in bad pathophysiological conditions and at high risk of bleeding.

Mechanical Thrombectomy for Acute Ischemic Stroke in Patients With Cardiac Myxoma: A Case Series and Pooled Analysis
ConclusionsOur findings suggest that MT is not only an effective technique but also a safe option for CM-AIS patients with large vessel occlusion. MT has several advantages for this population, which include a high recanalization rate, low bleeding risk, and the ability to evaluate the source of emboli and the etiology of stroke.
