WAMC: first time applicant, should I even apply here?
Hi! I'm hoping to apply this cycle and am still debating on if some schools are even worth for me to try applying to, so please let me know what you guys think! It's just been difficult to figure out which schools I would actually have a chance at because some of the schools cheaper end of the spectrum are so competitive OOS. My experience is what I'm most worried about since I know it's not diverse. I was hoping to get large animal or wildife/rehabilitation experience and work more this... Please help me rank these programs!
So I cannot for the life of me rank these 3 programs. They are towards the bottom of my list and I was wondering if I could get any external input. JFK Johnson Rehabilitation Institute - NJ Chicago Schwab Brooklyn Kingsbrook Now I know what your thinking kingsbrook has no name, and schwab is high for reputation. However during my interview at schwab I just got a horrible taste of the inpatient units. Super run down hospital, no resources, and no elective time??? Kingsbrook 74k salary, 3... Do I need to know my specialization when applying to psychology grad programs?
Hi everyone, I have two questions about obtaining a Ph.D. in psychology. How important is it to know your specialization before applying to programs? For example, while I know I want to pursue a Ph.D. in psychology, and I'm fairly certain I want it to be in clinical psychology, I'm not sure whether I want to specialize in neuropsychology, rehabilitation psychology, or more general counseling/therapy psychology. Is it crucial to know my exact path before applying to a program... Do I need to know my specialization when applying to psychology grad programs? (Source: Student Doctor Network)

Questions About Rehab Medicine/PM & R and Primary Care Sports Medicine in Australia?
Just wondering what the specialties are like and the pathway/schooling required, as well as other details like lifestyle, workload, types of patients, etc. Really any information would be great. When researching myself I primarily find information on North American PM&R instead of rehab medicine and I'm not sure if the two are directly comparable? I know the RACP Australasian Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine says they've adapted their general outline of the specialty from the American... SMART clinics
Any Navy providers have experience with their local Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation Team (SMART) clinics? Currently we are optimizing ours locally to become tri-service and have all MSK care funneled through there to ensure early establishment in an MSK care pathway and early diagnosis/dispo to prevent delays in care. No consult needed. Daily walk in clinic. No preceding PCM/GMO visit required. Army has a similar system (SPARTA clinic). It is the right idea but there is huge...
