Is this considered in patient
If I volunteered and shadowed at a health and rehabilitation center for the elderly it has a physical therapy unit that has residents stay there and go through physical therapy. Would that be considered in patient physical therapy? Or something else? (Source: Student Doctor Network)

Update regarding using Voc Rehab in undergrad them moving onto med school
Here is my story. I have been using Voc Rehab for undergrad for the past three years. I have been accepted to some medical schools and wanted to extend. 3 weeks enough for MCAT?
Initially allocated a semester and 3 weeks after classes for the MCAT. Ended up getting into a bad car accident, had to pull out from classes (still graduating in time, just dropped my 2nd major) and quit my job for rehabilitation. Finally feeling okay enough to crack down on MCAT, but unsure if I have enough time. Here's where I'm at now: -read 1/3 of EK material -took AAMC FL1 yesterday, my first prac exam (took two extra 5-min breaks in C/P b/c back pain; for real exam I can endure):... 3 weeks enough for MCAT? Non Nurse to NP program?
I am a non nurse; I am an occupational therapist and I have a masters degree in OT. I have a strong "conditions" background and I have taken nearly all of the pre-req courses required for PA programs. I understand that there are NP programs designed for non nursing degree holders: do you think this is worth it for me from a money and time stand point? I am committed to patient wellness and rehabilitation (hence why I am an OT) but I am strongly interested in diagnosing and treating... Non Nurse to NP program? (Source: Student Doctor Network)

Neuropsychology internship decision
Hi, I am interviewing at an APA-approved private practice that offers a neuropsych internship track. There may also be a possibility to do some neuropsych assessments within a nearby hospital that they are affiliated with. If I end up taking this internship, I am wondering if I will still be competitive enough to apply for neuropsych post-doc positions within a hospital setting? I have rehabilitation hospital practicum experience. Thanks! (Source: Student Doctor Network)
